About the prize

The Rhakotis Prize is unique in crediting and rewarding our award panel more than the winners. The panelists enjoy a heavy meal followed by a discussion over cigars in one of London’s finest restaurants. The Rhakotis Award Laureates receive the glory and recognition of winning one of the most prestigious awards in the field of the classics beyond the classics (formerly Graeco-Roman Egypt).
